The thing is, when somebody gives you their contact information they’ve given you consent to send them something. Now, let’s say the thing that arrived in your mailbox from Amazon wasn’t what you ordered…
Are you going to be upset?
Think of every email you send like this. Don’t betray the consent you’ve been given by your Audience by delivering content that isn’t valuable.
